HANTOUR：New Jetour Shanhai T2 with More Rugged Front and Rear Bumpers: Declaration Images Exposed

We have obtained the declaration information of the new Jetour Shanhai T2 from the latest issue of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's product declaration catalog. The new vehicle mainly upgrades its front and rear bumpers in terms of appearance, and its advanced driver assistance system is also expected to be upgraded. It is scheduled to go on sale as early as the fourth quarter of this year (2025).

In terms of appearance, the new vehicle generally inherits the design language of the current model, while the styles of the front and rear bumpers have changed. The new style is more minimalist, with the license plate area moved back to the center, better highlighting its rugged style. There are no obvious changes in other parts.

For power, the new vehicle will continue to be equipped with the 1.5T plug-in hybrid system of the current model, with a comprehensive system power of 280 kW and a comprehensive torque of 610 N·m. The CLTC pure electric cruising range has four options: 120 km, 129 km, 206 km, and 208 km, and the fuel consumption under feed-in power condition is as low as 6.3 L/100 km.


Dada's Comment: The Jetour Shanhai T2 is positioned as a compact plug-in hybrid SUV. Its "square box" appearance is quite rugged, and the rear is equipped with a spare tire mounted on the outside, a power tailgate, and a tow hook. The length of the extended version reaches 5034 mm, and the second and third rows of seats can be folded down to form a flat resting space. The guide price of the Jetour Shanhai T2 ranges from 179,900 yuan to 239,900 yuan, and its competitors include Haval Menglong PHEV, BAIC BJ40 Extended-Range, Tank 300 Hi4-T, etc. The Jetour Shanhai T2 has certain advantages in power and space, and offers higher cost performance. The Jetour Shanhai T2 adopts a unibody structure, so its off-road performance is not as good as that of the Tank 300 Hi4-T with a body-on-frame structure. It is more suitable for daily commuting, but can also handle occasional off-road drives. The appearance of the new Jetour Shanhai T2 has no obvious changes, with only minor adjustments made to the front and rear bumpers. The intelligent driving functions of the new vehicle are expected to be upgraded, and specific information will be released in the follow-up.
