Facing market squeeze from domestic premium EVs, Mercedes launches six all-new EVs fully equipped with 800V high-voltage architecture in 2026. The lineup covers SUV, MPV, sedan and hardcore off-road segments. It leverages native EV platforms, ultra-fast charging and high-level ADAS to stage a counterattack and complete full electric product layout.

1.Mercedes Electric GLC

Launched with pre-sales: Golden Edition RMB 339,800, Silver 5-seat RMB 299,900, Platinum 6-seat RMB 388,800. Longer body than ICE variant with 5/6 seat options. Built on 800V platform with 85.5kWh battery, CLTC range 680/703km, 310kW dual-motor, 0-100km/h acceleration 4.9s, 22 mins DC fast charge from 10%-80%. Equipped with Snapdragon 8295 chip and Momenta full-domain ADAS.

2.Mercedes VLE Electric MPV

Produced at Fujian Mercedes plant; larger VLS variant to debut in 2027 with identical platform. New EV styling, flexible detachable 5–8 seat layout. 800V architecture, WLTP range 700km, dual-motor 0-100km/h 6.5s, standard AIRMATIC air suspension, rear-wheel steering and advanced ADAS.

3.All-New Electric GLA

Successor to existing EQA with full 800V platform. RWD variant delivers 200kW power, 85kWh battery and 770km CLTC range. AMG high-performance version with 500kW peak power to be launched later.

4.All-New Electric C-Class

In new energy vehicle purchase tax exemption catalogue, to launch within 2026. Built on MB.EA dedicated 800V platform with 89kWh battery, 728km CLTC range. Equipped with eATS 2.0 two-speed electric drive, air suspension and rear-wheel steering; dual-motor combined power 360kW, 0-100km/h 4s.

5.Updated EQS

Launched overseas at approx. RMB 755,000. Upgraded to 800V architecture and eATS 2.0 drive, WLTP range 926km, adding 320km range within 10 mins charging. Sporty new fascia, 55-inch Hyperscreen, dual 13.1-inch rear entertainment screens. New-generation parking ADAS 60% faster; half-spoke steering wheel likely cancelled for Chinese market.

6.Compact Electric G-Class (G-Class Youth Edition)

Youth variant of G-Class on MMA 800V platform, classic boxy silhouette with spare tire carrier. Independent front/rear motors with single-wheel torque control, 724km WLTP range. Hybrid variant available, delivering off-road capability comparable to flagship G-Class.

Full-chain high-voltage SiC power control with peak charging power up to 320kW to cut refueling time drastically. Matched with two-speed electric drive to balance low-speed high torque and low highway power consumption. Lightweight high-voltage components extend driving range, compatible with MB.OS for over-the-air updates of powertrain and ADAS algorithms.

Mercedes’ six 800V EVs cover family, commercial, performance and off-road segments.
