Daily Brief:What Are The Interior, Powertrain And Variant Highlights of All-New Audi Q9?

Audi released official interior images of Q9 on May 12. Built on Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), the vehicle is scheduled for global debut in July 2026 and official import to China in 2027.

Interior Intelligent Cockpit

Adopting Audi’s latest interior design language, it is equipped with triple screens (instrument, central control, co-pilot entertainment) and HUD head-up display. It features column shift, ambient lighting, wireless charging, heated steering wheel, front seat heating/ventilation/massage and Bang & Olufsen premium audio system.

Seating & Comfort Features

Two seating layouts (6-seat & 7-seat) are available. The 6-seat variant features independent second-row seats with heating and ventilation, and all third-row seats support electric folding. It comes with a panoramic sunroof with 9 independent dimming zones (top trim supports linkage with ambient lights). Power-operated doors with multi-control modes are standard across the lineup.

Powertrain & Derivatives

Built on PPC platform, it offers three powertrain options: V6, V8 and plug-in hybrid. Besides the standard model, Audi will launch SQ9 high-performance variant and Horch ultra-luxury variant to cover family, performance and flagship premium market segments.

Audi’s all-new full-size flagship SUV competing with BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS. It completes the brand’s full-size luxury SUV product portfolio via triple-screen intelligent cabin, comprehensive comfort equipment, diversified powertrains and premium derivatives.
