Daily Brief:Mahindra Thar EARTH special edition (India)

Mahindra, an Indian automaker, has launched the EARTH special edition for its Thar model, available in hardtop and convertible versions. Priced at 1.54-1.76 million Indian Rupees in India, it is equivalent to RMB 133,800-152,900.

Only the front grille is reduced in size and simplified in the front face, with the rest of the design highly similar to the Jeep Wrangler. It features an exclusive desert gold body color with special decals and logos, and is upgraded with five-spoke titanium gray wheels matched with all-terrain tires (AT tires).

The interior adopts a black and gold two-tone color scheme with simplified configurations, and is mainly equipped with a central control display screen.

It is available with two power options: 2.0L petrol and 2.2L diesel, with maximum power of 150 hp and 130 hp respectively, mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. Adopting a solid axle design and equipped with a manual part-time four-wheel drive system, it delivers excellent off-road performance, with a reliable structure, low maintenance costs, and is suitable for off-road enthusiasts.
