Production Plan: The new car will be officially put into production at Mercedes-Benz's Graz factory in Austria in Q3 2027 and go on sale worldwide in 2028, as the brand's all-new four-door G63 convertible model.

Market Positioning: As a high-end derivative of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class series, it retains the core hardcore off-road attributes and fills the brand's product gap in four-door convertible hardcore off-road vehicles.

Core Exterior Design Features

Classic Inheritance: Continues the iconic boxy hardcore shape of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, retaining the brand's classic design language and off-road recognition.

Styling Upgrade: Adopts a body outline similar to the Landaulet version with the roof edge extending to the rear, the roof size is significantly longer than that of the previous generation G-Class convertible; the four-door layout is adopted for the first time, further improving functionality and practicality.

Powertrain Configuration

Core Configuration: Equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 mild hybrid engine, the maximum power is expected to remain at 577 hp, and the power parameters are highly consistent with the hardtop version.

Performance Attribute: Relying on the mature high-performance powertrain, the new car will fully retain the hardcore off-road performance of the Mercedes-AMG G63, balancing power output and off-road escape capability.
