Daily Brief:Core Highlights of All-New Tank 300 Dual PHEV Powertrains & Pre-sale

Tank brand released official exterior images of all-new Tank 300 on July 1, 2026. The vehicle will launch national pre-sale on July 6, marking an all-round generation upgrade since the model’s launch.

Exterior Design Upgrade

It inherits classic boxy rugged body and round headlights. The front grille abandons graphic logo and adopts blackened "Tank" letter badge for higher brand recognition. The rear retains iconic off-road layouts including external spare tire and side-swing tailgate, with new exclusive paint colors and reserved modification holes.

Dimension & Space Improvement

Overall dimensions reach 4886×1984×1927mm with a 3010mm wheelbase, 260mm longer than the previous generation, accompanied by slightly increased length and width. Rear legroom and cargo capacity are greatly optimized, upgrading its positioning from compact to mid-size off-road SUV for both off-roading and family trips.

Dual PHEV Powertrain Layout

Equipped with E20NB 2.0T turbocharged engine with 185kW maximum power, two differentiated PHEV versions are available:

Hi4-T: Non-decoupled mechanical 4WD with 37.1kWh battery and 105km CLTC EV range, retaining transfer case, low-speed torque amplification and three differential locks for heavy-duty cross-country;

Hi4-Z: Decoupled electric 4WD with 59.6kWh large battery, 200km pure electric range and total range over 1100km, targeting urban commuting and light off-roading.

Both hybrid systems are matched with dedicated 9HAT hybrid transmission.

Complete Power Portfolio

Besides two PHEV variants, two fuel powertrains are offered: 2.0T gasoline with 9AT and 3.0T V6+48V mild hybrid, covering full scenarios including daily commuting, long-distance travel and extreme off-roading.

Market Positioning

The new generation fixes pain points of cramped rear space and short range of the old model. With extended body, dual hybrid technologies and diversified power options, it covers both family and off-road markets, targeting family buyers, urban drivers and professional off-road enthusiasts.
