Daily Brief:All-New Mercedes-Benz GLC L EV To Launch Pre-Sale

The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC L EV is scheduled for pre-sale in early June and official launch in July. Built on the MB.EA dedicated EV platform, it is a long-wheelbase model exclusive to the Chinese market.

Standard 800V high-voltage platform with 320kW peak charging power, charging from 10% to 80% in only 22 minutes. Equipped with an 89kWh battery, 703km CLTC range; dual-motor 4WD with total power 463kW and eATS 2.0 electric drive system.

Chassis & Handling

Equipped with S-Class derived air suspension and rear-wheel active steering with 4.5° turn angle in both directions, balancing handling stability and ride comfort, enhancing low-speed agility and high-speed stability.

Exterior & Dimensions

Illuminated star logo + interactive grille with 942 backlight units; body size 4933×1902×1710mm, wheelbase 3027mm. The long-wheelbase design greatly improves rear space.

Interior & Intelligence

39.1-inch MBUX hyperscreen, powered by MB.OS and Qualcomm 8295 chip; standard front-seat heating, ventilation and massage, Burmester sound; available in 5-seat / 6-seat layouts.

Intelligent Driving

Equipped with Momenta intelligent driving system based on reinforcement learning model, supporting full-scenario ADAS including highway and urban navigation pilot and intelligent parking.

As Mercedes’ core midsize luxury electric SUV, it makes up for shortcomings in electrification and intelligence, focusing on luxury, long range and comfort. Pricing will be critical to market performance.
